Rhythms & Radiance

24 x 17 Oil Painting

Amber and Turquoise glass harmonizes with the colorful peacock feathers in this still life painting. I was drawn to the color splashed into cast shadows by the glass bottles, and by the rhythmic movement of light across the carved mantle.  In the Rhythms paintings, I wanted to provide a bit of architectural detail , that would add charm to spaces where it is absent.
