Calling

30 x 25 Oil Painting

Calling is an allegory of vocation. Cupid, awakened by a distant call, is poised for action. His gaze is firm, a quiver of brushes is at his disposal. Somehow, Cupid has lost his wings, making him all the more determined to awaken hearts. Now grounded, he will respond to The Call by creating acts of love and beauty.
