From the earliest time that I can recall I understood the importance of surrounding myself with things that made me happy. I made drawings of my cats, flowers, and walks with my mother because they captured moments of joy. Whenever I looked at my drawings I could relive the emotion of that experience.
I spent hours arranging objects in my room so that they had the perfect relationship to one another in terms of space and visual progression. I wanted the order of objects to tell a story and create a mood for the viewer. I somehow knew the importance of this subtle way of constructing an aesthetic environment, one in which the senses were engaged and heightened.
It was a logical progression to pursue an artistic career. It is a privilege to utilize my understanding of abstract ideas to formulate moments of joy, beauty, and awareness. I delight in bringing these creations to practical use in Melody The Artist Home. I believe that everyone deserves to live in an aesthetically pleasing environment.
