Robert Douglas Hunter and His Students

The June 2016 issue of American Art Review heralds an upcoming exhibition of the Robert Douglas Hunter lineage. Hunter was a prolific, well known painter and teacher in the Boston School Tradition. He taught at Vesper George School of Art, held workshops, and mentored private students. Many of Hunter’s students are today’s practising artists.

The exhibit, Robert Douglas Hunter and His Students, opens June 30 at Bryan Gallery in Jeffersonville, Vermont. Several of Hunter’s former students will be featured. I am delighted to be one of the artists included in the show.
