The Guild of Boston Artists Celebrates 95th Anniversary

Farewell Persephone, oil painting by Boston Artist, Melody Phaneuf is featured in the September issue of American Art Collector magazine in an article about The Guild of Boston Artists. Founded in 1914 by the prominent painters of the day, including Edmund Tarbell, William Paxton and Frank Benson, The Guild of Boston Artists is celebrating its 95th anniversary with an exhibition of past and present members. Melody Phaneuf was elected to the Guild of Boston Artists in 1988.

Farewell Persephone is on exhibit at The Guild through October 2009. The Guild of Boston Artists is located at 162 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02116. Hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 10:30-5:30.
